SGT Clinton A. Cook was serving in the 1st Platoon, Delta Company, 4th Battalion, 503rd P.I.R., 173rd Airborne Brigade, in Binh Dinh province, when he was badly wounded by an enemy booby trap.

With this message, Retired Brigadier General Jim Yarbrough set the tone for the 173d Airborne Brigade Memorial Foundation’s "Honors Ceremony" conducted on 11 June at the Brigade’s Memorial on the National Infantry Museum’s "Walk of Honor."

The Board of Directors of the 173d Airborne Brigade National Memorial Foundation will conduct an Honors Ceremony on Saturday, 11 June 2011 at 1000 hours.

In January 2008, the 173d Airborne Brigade Memorial Foundation received information regarding a Vietnam KIA who was not listed on the rolls of the fallen, nor The Wall in Washington, DC. Sky Soldier Ron Jordan sent a copy of the C/4/503 Morning Report, dated 11/22/67, listing his M-60 machine gun mate, Charles W. Webb, as KIA on 11/21/67. Jordan was also listed as WIA on that date.
