Over the past several months, The 173d Airborne Brigade National Memorial Foundation has been conducting a raffle/fundraiser with ALL proceeds going to the perpetual care of the Memorial to our fallen Sky Soldiers located at Fort Benning. Our Treasurer Floyd Reister has been doing God’s work going to numerous events while hauling the prizes which are a 2021 C8 Corvette, a custom built 8th of November Chopper and a Franklin guitar autographed by Big & Rich and Lynyrd Skynyrd. His biggest push came in just the last few weeks at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally he was able to get our donation level up to around $80,000.00.

However, this is still $50,000 short of our goal and we are 8-weeks from the drawing. I am asking that each of you look into donating or purchasing more raffle tickets to get us to our goal. The ever present Georgia heat and humidity put a ton of strain on our memorial and it takes funds to keep it looking pristine each year. We are also going to add a name for a fallen Sky Soldier from Vietnam that had been overlooked.
